Antiqued Copper and Ammonite Pendant with Chain
Ammonite fossils date back thousands of years and are fossilized marine mollusks, and were thought to become extinct during the Cretaceous Period. This lovely specimen shows off classic patterns. I used 99.9% pure copper wire to create a pendant frame in my Feather Frame design, using very fine wire. This pendant has three separate bails that are wide enough to accept up to a 1/4 inch wide chain. The accent beads are seamless copper. The entire piece has been antiqued, hand rubbed to give it an antique appearance, and has been sealed with a professional grade jewelry sealer to help deter further tarnish. Your pendant measures 2 3/8 inches by 1 inch wide and comes with an 18 inch antiqued copper chain and a velvet gift/storage bag.
