This sterling silver necklace was so much fun to do. I finally used some of the pearls I have! The focal point is a rare pink Indonesian Fossil Coral. This type of fossilized coral is usually in colors of yellows to browns, so I got lucky finding this one and it is completely natural. I set the stone first in a woven sterling silver pendant frame setting and set it aside. Then the necklace frame was woven and the pendant attached using the same wire. I never use glues. The wire does all the work.
The long ends were then woven and attached to the frame by stitching them down. The accents are natural vintage freshwater pearls, which add a touch of regalness. It is adjustable and hangs from 17 to 20 inches in length. The stone, itself, measures 1 5/8 by 1 1/8 inches at the longest and widest points. This one of a kind necklace has not been sealed but remains in its natural state. If you would like it sealed, leave me a note at the time of purchase. She ships with a velvet travel/storage pouch.
